Zhangjiajie is a natural flower Garden - Zhangjiajie Scenic Spots,Zhangjiajie National Forest Park - Zhangjiajie Tours

The main scenic areas (especially Wulingyuanin, Badagong Mountain and Tianmen Mountain) in Zhangjiajie are natural garden. There is flower bloom every season in Zhangjiajie. Only in Wulingyuan, 400 kinds of natural flowers bloom.

LOBSTER FLOWER
Lobster Flower is annually herbaceous plant. Under wet and shady condition, it grows in wood and bank of rivers. Lobster Flower was named after its shrimp shape. Lobster Flower has some color such as red, yellow and purple.

Orchid
As a kind of fragrant flower, orchid grows everywhere in Zhangjiajie. Orchid is orchidaceous plant. The orchid in Zhangjiajie is wild.

Dove Flower
Dove Flower is a kind of perennial arbor. Dove tree also named Gongtong. It blooms between spring and summer. The flower looks like flying white doves stand on branch when blooming. They grow in Tianmen Mountain, Emperor Mountain, Yaozi Village, Pipa Stream and Shentang Canyon. Located in Shentang Canyon, the biggest tree looks like a huge umbrella, which is meters around. It named king of Gongtong.

Five Colors Flower
Five Colors Flower is the most interesting flower in Wulingyuan. They grow in Longquan Canyon of Yangjiajie. In April every year, the flower like horn bloom. Consist of 12 petals,the Five Colors Flower changes five colors of red, yellow, purple, black and blue one day.

Camellia
Camellia is evergreen. Blooming period is between November and next March. With broader distribution, more species, long bloom time, beautiful color and fragrance, camellia is the main ornamental in Wulingyuan.
