The Chosun Ilbo, the most widely circulated newspaper in South Korea, promoted tourism of Ningxiang County of Hunan Province to Korean readers with an article titled “See Real China by Ningxiang of Hunan Province”.
On Page D4, there are three pictures on the top, respectively of Weishan, Miyin Temple and the location of Ningxiang in China. The text describes the first impression of Reporter Kim Seong Ho on the county, and introduces several scenic spots such as Guanshan Village, Weishan and Miyin Temple, hometown of Liu Shaoqi and Huitang Hot Spring. Some links follow it introducing traffic route from Korea to Ningxiang and accommodation in Ningxiang.
“Ningxiang is a comfortable tranquil county”, Kim Seong Ho stated in his article. In particular, the reporter spoke highly of Ningxiang delicacies. He regarded it as a golden opportunity to experience “real China” to have a home cooking at “happy farmhouse” in Guanshan Village.
