A grand Buddha unfolding ceremony was held Monday in Drepung Monastery in Lhasa, Tibet Autonomous Region, attracting large numbers of believers and tourists and also marking the beginning of the Sho Dun Festival, also known as the Yogurt Festival, a traditional Tibetan festival dating back to the 11th Century.
