One of the "New Eight Views" at Xiaoyuan Park: Green at Western Gate
Following the successive release of "New Eight Views" at Tianxin Pavilion, Changsha Ecological Zoo, and Changsha Landscape Ecological Garden, Xiaoyuan Park announced its very own "New Eight Views" on April 24.
The eight views are: Green at Western Gate, Blue Water and Secluded Residence, Green Field and Cherry Clumps, Lake Teeming with Fragrance, Peace Square, Two Elegant Pavilions, Rising sun at East Mountain, and Family Gallery.
Last year, the park upgraded its overall landscape, adding public green space of over 7,000 square meters, and newly planting a wide array of rare trees, including oriental cherry, gingko, magnolia, camphor, and sweet osmanthus.
A fete themed on "green, ecology, and sharing" was held on April 25 to preserve the green environment at Xiaoyuan Park. Activities included adopting oriental cherries and greenbelts, Wechat photo contest, Microblog Essay contest, and volunteer recruit.
