Recently, 46 Chinese-Thai students went to Xiangtan for a twelve-day Chinese culture learning camp.
Li Jiangnan, deputy secretary of the CPC Xiangtan Municipal Committee, expressed his welcome and introduced Xiangtan's local conditions and customs at the opening ceremony of the camp.
The leader of the team Li Zhenyang said that as a Chinese, he is glad to learn Chinese culture and has dedicated himself in spreading it in Thailand. Huang Tiantian, representative of the campers, said they will spare no efforts to gain a better understanding of the motherland through learning and experiencing.
After the opening ceremony, the campers visited the Former Residence of Mao Zedong and the Relic Museum of Mao Zedong in Shaoshan.
