On September 12, the 2nd Hunan (Changsha) Tea Cultural Expo & Rosewood and Purple Sands High-quality Goods Exhibition was held at Hunan International Convention and Exhibition Center. The fair attracted over 400 tea enterprises from Yunnan, Fujian, Beijing, Gansu, Guangdong, Hubei, and Taiwan.
Hunan produces various kinds of high-quality tea. The province not only takes the lead in the tea planting area, output and scale in the country, but also boasts structural advantage of coexistence of four main tea types, namely green tea, dark tea, black tea and yellow tea, which brings great opportunities for its tea industry.
This expo covers 15 thousand square meters and sets up 700 standard exhibition booths. Apart from the six major tea series, other products like tea clothes, purple sand teapots, Ru Kiln, Japanese iron pots, Jingde Town’s ceramics, Zhaoqing’s Duan inkstand, rosewood tables and root carving crafts are also displayed.
The fair will last till September 15, open to citizens for free.
