According to the Hunan Provincial Price Bureau on December 9, it approved the Zhangjiajie Municipal Price Bureau's application of providing free tickets for Zhangjiajie National Forest Park during the World Heritage Open Week.
According to the approval, visitors to the core scenic areas of Wulingyuan during the World Heritage Open Week, from December 25 to 31, 2013, will be provided with free tickets (65 yuan of environmental protection vehicle ticket excluded). Such vehicles for transporting visitors as the cableways, elevators, and tour buses maintain the current prices.
The present ticket price of Zhangjiajie National Forest Park is 180 yuan per person. The price department will supervise and urge the operation and management office of the scenic spot to publish related items including the range and time for the free ticket policy at noticeable places of the ticket office.
Besides, scientific knowledge publicity and education activities are to be held during the open week.
