On September 6, Chen Liheng, general manager of Franz Collection Inc. and president of the Asia-Pacific Cultural Creative Industry Association, surveyed Tongguan Ancient Town, Jinggang Ancient Town and Xinkang Opera Village in Wangcheng District, and delivered a speech titled “Brand and Cultural Creative Industry”.
It is reported that the Hunan-Taiwan Cultural Creative Industrial Park is expected to be settled in Changsha as a key project to be promoted at the “2013 Hunan and Taiwan Cultural and Creative Industry Cooperation Week”.
“Economy empowers enterprises, while culture empowers people”, said Chen in his speech. He believed that an enterprise should not only attach importance to its economic value, but also to its social, cultural and human values.
As an eminent Taiwan entrepreneur and one of the “25 Influential Chinese in Global Fashion”, Chen Liheng has devoted himself to the great undertaking of creating economic value out of creative aesthetics rooted in Chinese culture. He founded the Asia-Pacific Cultural Creative Industry Association in 2006, and hosted and sponsored numerous cultural creative and public benefit activities.
