Xu Yousheng, director of the Publicity Department of the CPC Hunan Provincial Committee met with a delegation led by Wei Qilin, vice chairman of the Taiwan Entrepreneurs' Moral, Business Ethics and Life Quality Association on August 3.
The delegation aimed to choose a location for "Headquarters of Chinese Brands" planned by the Asia-Pacific Cultural Creative Industry Association (APCCIA). During the stay in Hunan, they made field investigation at Yuhua District and Wangcheng District of Changsha, and conducted in-depth evaluation afterwards. Later, they would continue to assess such aspects as environment, talent, exchange and culture, thus strive to forge a project promoting cultural & creative industries of Changsha as well as cultural exchange between both sides of Taiwan Strait.
Mr. Wei said Taiwan expected to strengthen exchange and cooperation with Hunan in cultural & creative industries and other fields. He hoped that further efforts will be made to create a platform for trade exchange, industrial integration, enterprise cooperation and culture sharing between Taiwan and the mainland, to enhance the value of cultural and creative industry, and to tap a vaster market.
