Fourth Changsha Community Culture Festival Entertains the Citizens of Changsha

An amateur is ready to perform.

On the morning of June 30, the Fourth Changsha Community Cultural Festival was launched in Fengfan Square of Kaifu District.

The festival, themed “Spreading Civic Morality and Sharing Happiness”, was co-hosted by Hunan Daily Newspaper Group, Publicity Department of the CPC Changsha Municipal Committee, Office of the Steering Committee of Civic Enhancement (OSCCE) of the Changsha Municipal People's Government (CMPG), Bureau of Culture, Radio, Television, Press and Publication of CMPG, the Changsha Federation of Literary and Art Circles and OSCCE of the CPC Kaifu District Committee.

During the opening ceremony, various amateur art groups from neighborhood Kaifu District performed splendid shows such as “Fishing Joy in Gajiang River”, “Spring Ballet” and “Beauty of Changsha”.

In the coming months, the festival will tour all the districts and counties of Changsha. Classical activities like “Community Talents Show”, “Community Fun Sports”, “Community Fitness and Dancing Competition”, “Free Open-air Cinema” and “Chef Championship”, attracting participation from numerous residents, will continue to entertain the citizens of Changsha this year.

Initiated in 2010, the festival has been held four years in a row, gelling well into the fantastic scene of Changsha’s community culture.
