Miao People And Tourists Celebrate “Tiaohua” Festival in Fenghuang

The Folk Stunt "On the Ladder of Knives"

At 19:30 on May 17, about 10,000 local residents and tourists from home and abroad enjoy the campfire party of the "Tiaohua" Festival of the Miao People in Fenghuang at the Culture Square.

Villagers perform "Fishing in the Farmland" with unique characteristics of Miao nationality. The celebration event is hosted by Zhonghuang Village in Aizhai Town, Jishou. ?Local cultural activities as folk song singing, climbing ladder of knives and playing Miao Drum are provided. Thousands of audiences enjoy the feast of the original folklore culture.
