On the first day of the May Day holiday, the Miao people in Fenghuang Ancient Town performed "Tiaohua" dance in the culture square to welcome tourists. The cultural activity themed with Happy Xiaoxiang & Folk Fenghuang is held in Fenghuang, Hunan Province. According to the host, from May 1 through the end of July tourists can enjoy such featured local cultural activities as the Fenghaung Wenchadeng Drama and the Miao Flower Drum Dance in Fenghuang.
