The Meixi Lake & Yanghu Lake Flower Exhibition Attracts 100,000 Tourists

The Second Meixi Lake & Yanghu Lake Flower Exhibition at Changsha Pioneering District on the West Bank of the Xiangjiang River has attracted more than 100,000 tourists from April 26 to 29.

In Meixi Lake exhibition area, tourists in groups played with water and enjoyed beautiful flowers at the artificial sands of 2,000 square meters around the southwest of Meixi Lake. In addition, seven activities will be held to celebrate the flower exhibition, including exhibition of masters' paintings of Meixi Lake, world rose exhibition, Meixi Lake Cup for Children Live Painting Competition of Hunan Province, interaction between lovers on the sands, parent-child game and hip-hop talent show.

In Yanghu Lake exhibition area, about 600,000 pots of flowers were placed to promote the theme of happy and ecology, integrating green, humanity, leisure and ecology. Dozens of species of flowers were on display, including tropaeolum majus, maidenhair, hydrangea, mondevilla and triangle plum. The Century Concert of Li Zhihui and Hunan First Italian Lighting Show will be held during the exhibition.
