Zhangjiajie lists Hunan's Most Beautiful Scenic Spots NO.1 place

According to the results of "Hunan's Most Beautiful Scenic Spots" themed "Splendid Hunan and Natural Beauty" released on the afternoon of April 21, six scenic spots namely Zhangjiajie, Yueyang Tower, Fenghuang (Phoenix) Ancient Town, Aiwan Pavilion (Autumn-admiring Pavilion), Orange Isle and Nanyue Mountain have made a mark as the most beautiful scenic spots in Hunan from amongst the province's 70 nominated spots . Visitors from Hunan and other provinces attended the award ceremony held at the Aiwan Pavilion.

This ceremony has attracted great attention since the official launch of the project on April 3, with over 100,000 people participating as on-the-spot, on-line, via calls or SMS voters. With over 150,000 polls, the panel of judges selected the 6 Most Beautiful Scenic Spots, 3 Best New Scenic Spots namely Hongjiang Ancient Commercial Town, Meishan Dragon Palace and Mount Tianmen Fox Fairy, and 3 Best Scenic Spots for Participation including Dongjiang Lake, Zilongwan Hot Spring and Nanshan Pasture.
