Painting & Calligraphy Exhibition of 4 Gifted Hunan Artists Opens

"Flavor of Xiaoxiang-Painting & Calligraphy Exhibition of Liu Xiaobin, Li Yahui, Zhang Zhi and Zhou Huaping" was unveiled in Hunan Cangfu Art Gallery on April 6. More than forty pieces of painting and calligraphy works are on display for seven days.

The four Hunan-born artists are prominent representatives in young and middle-aged calligraphy and painting circles in  Hunan. Due to different life experiences, their works  presented totally different artistic styles. Liu Xiaobin's calligraphy brims with enthusiasm and elegance. Li Yahui's landscape paintings are obscure and indistinct. The writing of Zhang Zhi is classic and steady. Zhou Huaping' s coloring in landscapes is elegant and fresh. These artists, in the form of art, showed their understanding and pursuit of Hunan culture and nature.
