Changsha Initiates Free Travel to Promote Lei Feng Spirit

To commemorate “Learn from Lei Feng Day” on March 5, Changsha Hongguang Bus Co., Ltd. launches Lei Feng Special Bus Line for one-day free travel.

Early in the morning, many citizens at the parking lot of Lei Feng Bus Station saw bus No.15 from Changsha West Bus Station to Fengshupu posting slogan of learning from Lei Feng and hanging striking board in the front, reading Lei Feng Special Bus Line for One-day Free Travel.

According to director from Changsha Hongguang Bus Co., Ltd, a total of 17 buses will serve and handle about 6,000 passengers this day. Founded in 1998, the public transport enterprise in Lei Feng’s hometown holds activities to learn from Lei Feng every year, subsidizing aged people in nursing homes, households covered by the five guarantees and needy families.

It has become a must of the enterprise to commemorate Lei Feng on March 5 every year .
