Changsha National Demonstrative Public Cultural Services System On Check

Deputy Mayor of Changha Xia Jianping made a specific work arrangement concerning acceptance check of the city's building a national demonstrative area for public cultural services after reviewing the work report delivered by the Changsha Bureau of Culture, Radio, Film, TV, Press and Publication on February 26.  

Xia required attention be paid to dealing with prominent issues that haven't met assessment indicators. He added that the public cultural service pattern with Changsha characteristics must be highlighted by setting up cultural service circles in urban areas, major towns and rural areas. The full coverage of basic cultural services should be realized with diversities of different cultural services to be exhibited and more elegant cultural service items to be added.

These efforts aim to ensure both urban and rural residents equally enjoy public cultural services and facilitate the city to make the list of national first batch of demonstrative areas for public cultural services in 2013.
