“I have been away from Changsha for over 30 years. I had decided long before my return to Changsha during the festival to tour around the old streets of the city in pursuit of my childhood memories.”
“The old buildings inherited traditional Hunan culture. I want to retain the beautiful memories with my oil paintings.” Over the past 8 years, the artist has painted over 200 works with old Changsha streets and buildings as the theme.
In the past 10 days or so, more than 20,000 residents have visited the exhibition. It is the first time the municipal museum has held a freer personal exhibition. The current exhibition will last till February 28.
