Governor of Hunan Province Xu Shousheng commented Hunan’s development in the year of 2012 with stable, sound and with remarkable achievements in his address. He said that in accordance with the requirements of new-type industrialization, new-type urbanization, agricultural modernization and informatization and the “Two-Oriented” Society, the province will focus on accelerating building a well-off society in an all-around way and constructing the “Two-Oriented” Society, and on taking the lead in building an overall well-off society in the central China and developing a way of constructing the “Two-Oriented” Society nationwide. Hunan will also spare no efforts to increase its economic aggregate not only in totality but also in per capita and improve its economic quality in 2013, a year full of challenges and opportunities, and thus to co-build and share a beautiful homeland.
