Changsha to Soon House China's Widest Bridge

On January 31, two axle beams of the bridge across Beijing-Hongkong-Macao highway in East Xiangfu Road, Changsha, known as the "China's Widest Bridge" have been jacked up above the highway. The other two will be completed in August this year and the entire project will be finished before the end of this year.

The 61 meters wide flyover, 0.5 meters wider than the current China's widest bridge, Pan'an Feng Yuan Bridge in Zhejiang, renewed the record of China's widest bridge. The east Xiangfu road starts from Wanjiali road in the west and stretches to the west bank of LiuYang River in the east, with the length totaling 4.39 kilometers. It is one of the supporting projects of the Changsha South Railway Station of the Wuhan-Guangzhou High-speed Railway and a main road running through the city from east to the west in overall planning of Changsha city.
