Direct Tourist Charter Flight Launched Between Phuket and Changsha

At 9:30 p.m. on January 12, Flight JF481 carrying 214 Chinese passengers took off from Changsha Huanghua International Airport to Phuket Island in Thailand, marking the official opening of the direct Changsha-Phuket tourist charter flight undertaken by Thailand Jet Asia Airways.

To ensure the success of this first direct flight, Changsha Frontier Inspection Station made great efforts in keeping a comprehensive track of the dynamic flight information, arranging inspectors learned in service regulations and Phuket’s social and geographic information, as well as releasing a service hotline regarding border inspections and the customs clearance procedures at Changsha Airport.

Almost 6,300 Thais have paid a visit to Hunan, a year-on-year growth of 30%, due to the opening of Changsha - Bangkok flight in 2012, The opening of a direct Changsha-Phuket Flight will save travel cost for passengers traveling between Hunan and Thailand instead of transferring flight in Bangkok, and will further promote the economic and trade cooperation between Hunan and southern areas of Thailand.
