Hunan Tea Leaf Brands Become Domestically Well-known

According to General State Administration for Industry and Commerce, Hunan trademark "Baishaxi" has been acknowledged as a well-known Chinese trademark. So far, nine Hunan tea leaf brand trademarks have accomplished this feat, marking a leading position amongst the central-western provinces.

"Baishaxi" trademark belongs to Hunan Baishaxi Tea Leaf Factory Co.,Ltd., whose tea-producing craftsmanship named "Qianliangcha" has been listed in "the second batch of directory of national intangible cultural heritage under protection". In 2011, the dark tea of "Baishaxi" was commended as "prominent green and healthy food" by UN.

Annual production of Baishaxi dark tea  has reached 10,000 ton, with sales booming in Xinjiang, Gansu, Qinghai, Inner Mongolia, Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Changsha as well as Japan, South Korea, Russia, etc. and sales volume exceeding 500 million yuan.
