Day 1

Your personal guide will meet you right in the arrivals hall, ready and on time. A comfortable private car and experienced driver will be ready and waiting to take you to the hotel.

7-Day Classic Rafting Tour in Zhangjiajie & Mengdong River Day 2 Zhangjiajie National Forest Park

AM: After breakfast in the hotel, visit Yellow Stone Village, Yellow Stone Village lies to the west of Zhangjiajie Forest Park with an altitude of 1200m and covers an area of 250mu, which is one of the must-visit places when you are in Zhangjiajie. You can enjoy the Six Stranges Pagoda, Picking Star Platform, Five Finger Peak, Lover peaks and so on when you are on the top of mountain.

PM: Go to Golden Whip Stream, located in Zhangjiajie National Forest Park, Golden Whip Stream covers a distance of 7.5 km from north to south, winding across mountains and valleys. The brook is limpid through the year, with many scenic spots along the way. It is famous for Jinbian Cave-which has a height of 382km and looks like a huge flying eagle. Wear good walking shoes and protection from the weather.

Day 3 Zhangjiajie National Forest Park

AM: Take Bailong Elevator up Yuanjiajie, Bailong Elevator is the said to be the world's tallest full-exposure outdoor lift, tallest double-deck sightseeing elevator.Yuanjiajie is the inspiration for Hallelujah Mountain in AVATAR , Where you will also find the aptly named First Bridge under Heaven, Lover Peaks and so on.

PM: Continuing to Tianzi Mountain, it takes you 40 minuts from Yuanjiajie to Tianzi Mountain by public bus, after arriving in Tianzi Mountain, you will have a bird’s-eye view of all the mountains and valleys of the Wuling Mountains. Visit Western Sea, Helong Park, Viewing Terrace etc.Take Tianzi cablecar down and check in hotel for a rest.

Day 4 Baofeng Lake & Yellow Dragon Cave&Glass Bridge

AM: A short driving to Baofeng Lake, Baofeng Lake is the masterpiece of nature and human beings’ wisdom, it is 85 meters above the ground and attains an altitude of 585 meters. All the water is from rainfall and spring. It is pure just like a big crystal among Bao feng mountain Range. When you cruise, you can hear authentic song from Tujia minority people.You can fully understand the harmony and peace between human beings and nature.

PM: Continue to Yellow Dragon Cave, this cave is praised to be one of the most beautiful cave in china , It is just like an underground "magical palace", featuring a wide cave, deep and secluded underground rivers, hanging waterfalls and dense stone bamboo shoots, and showing a style of its own,what's more,the Zhangjiajie Grand Canyon glass bridge, which will be 984 feet high and 1411 feet long, is being constructed with 1.9-inch-thick glass panels and several glass observatories at various sections. It will also have the capability to allow tourist to go bungee jumping off it. About 3 hours to hike in the valley..

Xibu Street: Xibu Street is located in WuLingYuan. It consists of water bar street, the Chinese snack street, xiangxi folk shopping street, leisure inn and creative mate. Thus becoming a complex tourism commercial pedestrian street.

Day 5 Mengdong River Rafting & Furong Town

AM: Pay a visit to Mengdong River Rafting, Mengdong River scenic spot is famous largely as an ideal place for rafting. Here visitors can raft on it in rubber boats, and because of the fantastic scenery and unforgettable experience, it gains the praise as the "number one rafting in the world". It will take you 3 hours in the boat to finish the rafting tour.

PM: There are a lot of to see and do in Furong Town, originally named Wangcun,is a home of Tujia and Miao minorities in the west Hunan. Furong Town has a history of more than 2,000 years, and it an ancient town where people of the Tujia and Miao ethnic people live together.Until now, in the town, pavement laid with black flagstones and ancient domestic house (mainly Diaojiaolou) are well preserved.

Day 6 Dehang Miao Village

AM: In the morning you will be driven to Dehang Village, located in the west suburbs from Jishou city, Dehang means a "beautiful valley" in Miao language, in the scenic spot, streams are crossing to each other; deep valleys, spectacular waterfalls, grand mountain ranges, ancient trees and special flowers, precious birds and animals are everywhere.you will have a better understanding to the Miao nationally after visiting this village.what's more, you will pass the Aizhai Bridge on the way to the Miao village, Aizhai Bridge is praised to be one of the greatest engineering wonders,with length of 1073.65m.

PM: Be transferred to Fenghuang Ancient City and check in hotel for a good rest.

Day 7 Fenghuang Ancient City

AM: Take your time as you spend a whole morning exploring this fascinating city. Hemmed in by rolling mountains and watered by a smoothly flowing river, flagstone streets, rows of traditional wooden houses built on stilts, towers, bridges everywhere, Fenghuang Ancient City is praised to be the most beautiful ancient city in china. A short boat ride of 10 minutes on the Tuo River is a good experience to relax, and you can also explore the small museums and former residences inside the town.

PM: Come back to Zhangjiajie, about 4 hours by car. See you off in Zhangjiajie airport,bus or train station.
