Dragon Boat Festival Holiday Witnesses a Surge of Tourists

Changsha’s high-speed railways carried a total of 266,800 passengers during the three-day Dragon Boat Festival holiday, up 16.98% year-on-year, according to statistics from the Changsha train station released June 12.

Yueyang was one of the most popular scenic spots to visit. To accommodate the travel rush, the Guangzhou Railway Group put 6.5 additional regular trains in use. Statistics issued by the Guangzhou Railway Group from June 9 to 12 show that Yueyang railways and Yueyang East high-speed railways carried a total of 70,000 passengers, a year-on-year growth of 16.7%.
