Hunan and Taiwan to Jointly Develop Ecotourism of Yangming Mountains

On Yangming Mountain of Shuangpai County of Yongzhou City, experts and volunteers from both sides of Taiwan Straits pooled the wisdom on harmonious ecotourism of the mountain and Yangming Mountain in Taiwan on March 31.

There is a Yangming Mountain both in Yongzhou City of Hunan Province and north of Taiwan. Enjoying much popularity and influence in their region, the two mountains provide quality assurance and image support for their tourism development.

In the morning, at the cultural exchange of Yangming mountains & ecotourism promotion meeting, the two sides signed a cooperation framework agreement. Hunan and Taiwan announced to jointly establish the first cross-Straits ecological volunteer team of China.

The delegates exchanged the most representative seeds of rare plants of Yangming Mountain in Hunan and Taiwan, and inked and issued the country’s first Proposal of Protecting Rare Plants.
