Masterpieces of Xiang Embroidery and Ceramic to Be Exhibited in Hong Kong - Zhangjiajie travel news,Tianmen mountain,Zhangjiajie flights - Zhangjiajie Tours

The "2013 Hunan (Hong Kong) Investment Promotion Week & Preview of Artistic Works of Xiang Embroidery and Ceramic" was convened in Changsha and Liling respectively. One hundred masterpieces will be selected from the preview for the exhibition and auction in Hong Kong with the aim to demonstrate the artistic charm of embroidery and ceramics created by Hunan crafts and artisan masters.

Both fine art works of Xiang embroidery and Xiang ceramics were exhibited in the preview. Specifically, 90 pieces of Xiang embroidery including the works from seven organizations like Hunan Embroidery Research Institute, Hunan Arts and Crafts Vocational College were on display in the Hunan Embroidery Research Institute from March 23 to 29. Some of them were classic works and innovative works by such national craft masters as Yang Yingxiu (deceased), Huang Cuifeng (deceased), Zhou Jinxiu and Liu Aiyun.

The selected 100 masterpieces are to be exhibited on the "2013 Hunan (Hong Kong) Investment Promotion Week" in June. With the platform of Hong Kong, Hunan's craft and art works are expected to speed up its pace of "going international" through auction and other promotion events.
