Changsha: Target and Priority of Tourism in 2013

In 2013, Changsha plans to attract 95.55 million tourists and achieve total tourism revenue of 95 billion yuan, an expected year-on-year increase of 18.14% and 21.31% respectively. The city is expected to receive 94.4 million domestic tourists and 1.15 million inbound tourists, up 18.16% and 9.3% compared with that of 2012. The total tourism revenue of the domestic or inbound tourism witnesses a year-on-year growth of 21.95% and 12.05%, with the target total value hitting 90.38 billion yuan and 745 million USD (about 4,470 million yuan) respectively.

Changsha will give priority to its beauty, prominent features of joy, excellent service and talent cultivation project, promoting its beautiful mountains, rivers and other scenery, highlighting “Happy Changsha”, providing attractive, safe, delighted and considerate services and launching the 312 Tourism Talent Cultivation Program.
