Changsha Mayor Meets with Foreign Guests Attending the Culture & Art Week

Zhang Jianfei, mayor of Changsha City, met with and feasted foreign diplomatic envoys who visited Changsha to attend the Meixi Lake International Culture & Art Week. 

Mr. Zhang extended welcome to these envoys and the delegations. He stated that Changsha is not only a city with a long history of 3,000 years and many sites of ancient cultural remains but the one with pleasant ecological environment and forest coverage over 53%. Additionally, Changsha is a vibrant city since its economy has been developing at a faster speed in recent years, well above the national average. In the past few years, Changsha Government has prioritized the development of culture, spent considerable resources to protect historical and cultural sites and constructed a lot of cultural facilities.

The Culture Art Week was honored by the representatives' presence. Though it was cold in Changsha, they must be affected by the enthusiasm of Changsha people.
