International Tourism Golden laurel Awards was conferred to Zhangjiajie

On September 19, the 2012 International Forest Protection Festival ,as well as the 30 anniversary of the establishment of China's National Park was began at Zhangjiajie National Forest Park. At the opening ceremony, the chairman of International Tourism Association, Erik Du Lvke confer the International Tourism Golden laurel Awards  to Zhangjiajie Government , therefore, Zhangjiajie has become the first Governmental institution of China to receive such prize.

During these 30 years, Zhangjiajie National Forest Park has received about 30 million tourists, altogether earned 34.7 billion Yuan, thus making nearly 200,000 people be employed, and now it has already become a popular touring site in China.
