Father and son rode 434 kilometers to Zhangjiajie appealing to low-carbon travel

Starting from Tongcheng, Hubei province, through Yueyang, Huarong, Jinshi, Cili, Hunan province, it took three and a half days for the father , Wuxinchi ,and his son ,Wugen who riding 427 kilometers under the hot sunshine,and weather to reach Wulingyuan Scenic Region of Zhangjiajie on July 10. The next day, the father and his son rode to visit the Baofeng Lake scenic spot, and they call on more people taking part in low-carbon travel.

The father, Wuxinchi , is a businessman, but more a cycling tourism lover., and he once rode to Ge’ermu, therefore, under the influence of his father, the son, Wugen ,is also fond of cycling tourism, having come to many places with his father. This year, Wugen took part in the College Entrance Examination, and he gained 637 score,which was very high for him to enter a good university. After Voluntary reporting, he and his father decided to ride to Tibet along the Chuangzang line.,but because of something wrong happening to the line,so they canceled their plan.

They got that Wulingyuan Scenic region of Zhangjiajie was developing the activity “ if you travel to Zhangjiajie in a low-carbon way, then I will give you subsides, and also carrying your Microbrog to tour Zhangjiajie”, meanwhile, those who come to Zhangjiajie by bicycle,on foot, or on skateboard or any other low-carbon ways to Zhangjiajie with more than 300 kilometers will be awarded with free tickets to the scenic regions and other prizes. So ,they immediately pick up their package, then went on their journey. On their way,they went on over taking photos under the hot sunshine, what’s more, they insisted on expressing their feelings,  life experience and promoting environmental protection through the Microbrog.

In the morning of 11, the father and his son paid a visit to the Baofeng Lake Scenic spot.They not only spoke highly of the beautiful scenary of Zhangjiajie, but also express their support and agreement to the idea of   calling on low-carbon tourism ,  healthy environmental protection.

The father, Wuxinchi told the reporter that they had never threw a empty bottle , as well as Spitting over a sputum,and always personally promoted environmental protection. The son Wugen also thought that it is a new social practice to call on low-carbon travel, healthy environmental protection, so it is necessary to encourage more people to protect the environment.
