The National Butterfly appears in the Golden Whip Stream of Zhangjiajie

The larva of the Agehana elwesi at the early stage was like guano, and like the branch of tree at the pupal stage, like the poisonous snake-Green Bamboo Snake at the end stage, at last, it becomes an amazing member among the papilios.

It is reported that Agehana elwesi is a kind of butterfly only existing in our country, and there are only two kinds in the whole world, living in the mainland and Taiwan respectively. Because they are the butterflies with two veins in the end of their body among the 17,000 kinds of butterflies, moreover, they are with big but beautiful shape and rare, the Academic School regards them as the representative of China's butterflies which awarded the title of " National Butterfly".
