Zhangjiajie Guides Made Their Tour Debut in Taiwan

On the dusk of June1, the ten excellent tourist guides coming from the tourist resort-------ZhangJiajie performed the folk songs and dances which were directed by them themselves once setting foot on Taiwan Island, and won the cordial applause and bravo from the cultural tourism circle in Taibei city, the minority, and the representative of media. The arrival of the interactive group, “the long journey of the tour guides from ZhangJiajie” started the mainland tour guide first coming to Taiwan Island and carrying out the exchange of tourism culture.

This exchange activity was hosted by the Tour Guide Steering Committee in ZhangJiajie, Municipal Tourism Administration, the Taiwan Affairs of Housing, and ZhangJiajie National Forest Park Management Office. And it also was given under the auspices of the Municipal Tourism Association Tour Guide Branch and Huangshi Village Passenger Aerial Ropeway Company. June1 was the first day that the ten excellent tour guides reached to Taiwan Island who received tremendous ovations from the Local Culture Education Exchange Association, the Economic and Trade Associations, Sightseeing Tour Guide Guild, and Minority Culture and the Economic and Trade Association and the like. In the social evening gathering, the ten outstanding tour guides performed some art programs with rich local characteristics for our compatriots in Taiwan such as the ZhangJiajie Yang play, festive lantern, SangZhi folk song, and the waving dance of Tu people and so froth, and showing the Zhangjiajie folk customs, advocating the absolutely fantastic natural scenery, and handing out nearly 1,000 ZhanGjiajie tourism scenery picture books to the present honorable guests. The two sides also discussed the tour guide service, culture creativity, resources protection and tourism product packaging, and reached the consensus that we should learn from each other to promote a win-win solution.
