Zhangjiajie Landscape will make a stage in Singapore,Malaysia and Thailand

According to the Zhangjiajie Tourism Bureau on June 3, the Tourism Promotion Group will introduce the enrich tourism resource of Zhangjiajie to the people in Singapore,Malaysia and Thailand in the mid of this month, and the beautiful scenery of Zhangjiajie will make an appearance in foreign countries again.

 In recent years, the attraction of Zhangjiajie in Singapore ,Malaysia and Thailand has been increased gradually, especially a conspicuous success was achieved in the promotion in these three countries by the Government of Wulingyuan District last year. In the past, tourists from these three countries coming to Zhangjiajie reached 70,000 , up by 38%on a year-on-year basis, including more than 20,000 people from Thailand , increasing by 147% on a year-on-year basis. At the same year, the consultant of the National Tourism Bureau of Thailand, Akapeng, leading the governmental inspecting group made a successful visit in Zhangjiajie, and signed a framework agreement about tourism cooperation with the Zhangjiajie Government. Now the promotion of the group of Wulingyuan District to these three countries aims to further strengthen the cooperation with the tourism industry of the three countries;together foster markets with potential tour customers;promote the development of tourism economy in China and the three countries, and take the chance to introduce Zhangjiajie to the local people.

It is reported that as the airport of Zhangjiajie was upgraded, the foreign tourists coming to Zhangjiajie increased massively. According to the statistic, from January to May, Wulingyuan District has received 300,000 tourists from foreign countries, increasing by 26.4% against the same period of last year, and the 70%to 80% tourists from South Korea, Thailand, Malaysia and Singapore.

Zhangjiajie is the world's famous place of interest, with the titles of the First National Forest Park in China, one of the First World's Natural Heritages, one of the World's Geological Parks, Tour Scenic spot of 5A-level among the first agreed list and National Civilized Tour Spot. In the beginning of 2010,the"Hallelujah"-suspending mountains in the fiction movie Avatar which was popular in the world found a view in Zhangjiajie, and in the end of 2010, the Peak Forest of Quartzose Sandstone in Wulingyuan was renamed as "Zhangjiajie Landscape" by the International Geological School Organization, making Zhangjiajie "go global " with a new card..
