Cultural Creativity tempered the tourism of Zhangjiajie

This year, Zhangjiajie,"the Window of Hunan",drew people's attention constantly.for example, the Week for International County Music, Fair of Tourist Product in Hunan, Flying Mount Tianmen came to the stage one by one, which attracted the Media at home and abroad and got the top attention of the tourists, therefore, the name "Zhangjiajie Phenomenon" of the cultural and tourism industry was created.

Now , there are 8 performing theaters actually operating in Zhangjiajie City of Hunan Province. The products of tour performing mainly divide into three patterns:in terms of theater kinds , there is representative  Zhangjiajie:charming Xiangxi; in terms of live-action, there is the representative, Foxy Lady of Tianmen :the Woodcutter's story of  Liu Hai; when it comes to performance in scenic spots, there is the representative, Old Yard . According to the introduction of the principle of Charming Xiangxi:Until July 31, the number of ticket buyers for watching the Charming Xiangxi reached 460 thousand, which achieved a historic breakthrough.

Depending on statistics, in the first six years of this year, the number of tourists in Zhangjiajie stood at 11.52millon, and many tourists stayed 0.5 or 0.8 longer in Zhangjiajie for the tour performing. It is up to 30.5% that the returned tourists came to Zhangjiajie just for the performance . Insiders predicted that performing cause of tourism in Zhangjiajie in 2011 will make more progress with the constant prosperity. The preforming cause has already been a new growth point of the tourism in Zhangjiajie .

Xiaolingzhi, the previous Municipal standing committee and Propaganda Minster of Zhangjiajie said:" The goal we put forward is to create the quality goods of global tourism, to promote the "four transforms" of tourism. Tour products focusing on sightseeing, will turn to coordinate sightseeing, relaxation, vacation, exhibition, business type; tour economy will transfer from depending on the growth of numbers to the increasing of numbers, quality,benefit; tour brand will change from domestic destination.


As the first batch of tour cities in the country to take the trial of comprehensive reform, Zhangjiajie constantly deepens the reform of cultural system, advancing the fusion of culture and tourism, and leads the development of cultural and tourism industry in Hunan, even in the whole country, but all of these are just the beginning. The municipal Party secretary of Zhangjiajie, Hubojun, holds the opinion :" deepening reform and opening up, continually increasing the vitality of development , and taking the chance of trials of comprehensive reform for tourism in the country are to coordinate and accelerate overall reform and opening up, to inject new motivation to the construction of tourist quality goods in the world.
