Revolution Base Museum of Hunan, Hubei, Sichuan and Guizhou provinces

Revolution Base of Hunan, Hubei, Sichuan and Guizhou provinces is the biggest base of the Second Red Corps and the last base of Red Army of China. The Second Red Corps appeared here accomplished the Long March by themselves and cooperated with the Long March of Center Red Army by fighting against one million army of Kuomintang. The Second Red Army had contributed to success of Chinese Revolution. The center of Revolution Base located in Dayong (now named Yongding District of Zhangjiajie City). On 24th, December 1934, Renbishi and Helong took the Second Red Corps and the Sixth Red Corps to liberate Dayong. Government of Hunan, Hubei, Sichuan and Guizhou provinces established on 26th, December. The headquarters located in Catholic church of Dayong. Since then, Revolution Base of Hunan, Hubei, Sichuan and Guizhou provinces formed. In order to commemorate this precious history, Chinese government established the museum in former address.

Located on No 41, Jiefang Road in Zhangjiajie City, it is key protected provincial relic and one of hundred education bases of patriotism. With good condition, there are former constructions and 300 relics and photos exhibited. Many visitors including leaders of government visited the museum.
