The World Wingsuit Championship is going to be held on Tianmen mountain in Zhang Jiajie on 12th,Oct to 14th,Oct, held by the World Wingsuit League(WWL). It’s said that 16 excellent pilot from 9 different countries will compete for the “King of Wingsuit pilot”.
With a history less than 20 years, Wingsuit Flight, or Proximity Skyflying, has been regarded as the highest state among all the extreme sports for its dangers and difficulties. Now. There are only several hundred pilots all around the world.
This competition is a regular route racing. The pilots will jump in turn from the top of Tianmen mountain, with an elevation of 1400 kilometers. They should finish a round-like orbit, which starts with a right turn into a valley and then return to the left side. After having flown over the finish line of Tianmen Cableway, the pilots should open the parachute before land on the Tianmen winding access road.

The technical requirements of the pilot is so high that the number of the qualified pilots around the world was no more than 20.
