Wuguanzhong's statue is located in Zhangjiajie park

On September 19, the ceremony of unveiling the Bronze Statue of the talent scout as well as the master of Traditional Chinese Painting-Mr.Wuguanzhong took place at National Forest Park of Zhangjiajie,Hunan Province. Zhangjianlong, the Vice Direct General of National Forestry Bureau, Xuminghua, the Vice Mayor of Hunan Province, Wukeyu, the son of Wuguanzhong and Xieweihe ,the Vice President of Tsinghua University attended the ceremony.

It is reported that because of the contributions of the master of Traditional Chinese Painting Wuguanzhong, Zhangjiajie had chances to make people from all the world known. In the autumn of 1979, when Wu went to the undiscovered Zhangjiajie National Forest Park which originating from Zhangjiajie Forestry yard, he was immediately shocked and attracted by the marvelous scenary. After making the big painting the Natural work- Zhangjiajie, he also wrote an article Zhangjiajie is a pearl of scenary,which nobody knows it ,and the article aroused great response after publishing on the Hunan Dairy Newspaper in the New year of 1980. From that on, Wuguanzhong had made a tight connection with the mountains ,rivers and people of here, sparing no effort to promote Zhangjiajie.

Thanks to the promotion of Wuguanzhong, Zhangjiajie, the pearl of scenary known by others. On September 25,1982,Zhangjiajie has become the first national park of China.

Zhangjiajie is a tourism city, and has achieved a great development in tourism because of rich and unique tourism resources.
