September 19 is the opening ceremony of the Festival of 2012 Zhangjiajie International Forest Protection,as well as to honor the 30 anniversary of the establishment of China's National Forest Park.

The Zhangjiajie National Forest Park, established in 1982 in the approval of National Reform and Development Department conferred by the State Council, is the first National Forest Park of China, and till now, it has gone through 30 years. The Festival of the international Forest Protection was held for 15 times since Zhangjiajie firstly hosted the Festival of International Forest Protection in 1991, now,this activity has become a party with high fame and praise for sharing the experience of forest protection and spreading ecological civilization.
