CAAC held RNP project of Zhangjiajie Louts Airport

According to the PBN implementation plan of south area in 2012 which was reported to and agreed by the Flight Standard Department of CAAC （civil aviation administration of china ）, Central and Southern Regional Administration held RNP project of Zhangjiajie Airport from July 19th to 20th. The main principals of the Flight Standard Department and Administration Bureau of CAAC, of Supervision Bureau in Hunan province, of Air Traffic Control Bureau in Hunan, of China Southern Airlines, of Air China, of China Eastern Airlines, of Okay Airways, of Western Airlines，of Shangdong Airlines, of China Southern Airlines Shenzhen branch, of Hunan branch of China Southern Airlines, of Civil Aviation Flying College, of Hunan airport group company, of Zhangjiajie airport, of  civil aviation of new era Airport Design College, of Airbus China company, of QUOVADIS companies and of other relevant units attended the meeting.
 
Considering the complexity of the operation of Zhangjiajie airport, Zhangjiajie airport RNP project also design the flight program that RNP is linked to ILS in addition to the design of RNP AR flight procedures. The formation and implementation of RNP flight program in Zhangjiajie airport can save fuel and the operation time; reduce the operating weather standard and the angle of slide downward; unify the single program and reduce the control risk owing to too many single programs; provide more accurate flight track; reduce airport’s dependence on the ground facilities;  be used as main part of the flying program and the backup of ILS program; enhance the support ability of airport operation. The Administration Bureau will organize, coordinate and finish the work of the program design, of databank making, of the validation of analog machine, of personnel training, of the validation of flight-testing and the supplement examination according to the key time of the project in the next stage.
