Zhangjiajie welcomed the first round of low-carbon travelers

“You each one have rode about 320 kilometers from Xiangtan to Wulingyuan, so according to the related rule of the activity ‘you travel on low-carbon way. and we will give your subsidies’, we should award each of you with 130 yuan.” Two o’clock p.m. on July 5,the staff of the Tourism Bureau in Wulingyuan District, Zhangjiajie City awarded two guys with access permission to the scenic spot and subsidies according to the rule of low-carbon travel. It is reported that the two young men are the first low-carbon travelers received by the core scenic spot of Wulingyuan District in the summer holiday of this year. Until now, there are more than 20 tourists from Guangzhou, Shanghai and other large and middle-sized cities traveling by low-carbon way to the World’s Natural Heritage-Wulingyuan.

One of the two young men is Huangwentao, and other  Guangxin, and they are both students of universities in Hunan Province. When the summer holiday coming ,they actively responded to the activity “ if you  travel in low-carbon way ,I will give your some subsidies, and       touring Zhangjiajie with your Microbrog”, so ,they started their journey together from Xiangtan on June 1 by bicycle, and it cost them five days from Changsha,Yiyang,Changde,Zhangjiajie to Wulingyuan. On their way to Wulingyuan, they sticked to release their feeling through microbrog everyday, so as to appeal to protect environment and heritage through low-carbon travel. As stepping into Wulingyuan,Huangtao said happily“although low-carbon travel is tired, it is worth,for we not only exercise our ourselves,but call on the whole society to protect the World’s Natural Heritage-Wulingyuan by actions.

The activity“ If you travel in low-carbon way ,I will give your some subsidies, and touring Zhangjiajie with your Microbrog”which was    held by the government of Wulingyuan District and the Monitoring Department of Zhangjiajie Natural Forest Park, was comprehensively started on June 28,with the rule of that from June 28 to September 15,those who tour Zhangjiajie of more than 300 kilometers through low-carbon ways, such as bicycle,hiking,skateboard and so on can gain four big prizes set by the host,such as free tickets to scenic regions,low-carbon subsidies,the prize for popular touring notes and making tour stories into micromovies. And the tickets for scenic spot including Second-grade scenic regions like core scenic spot of Wulingyuan District , Huanglongdong and BaofengLake, worthing about 800 Yuan. Students below 24 years old and people above 60 years old can enjoy the low-carbon subsidies 0.4 Yuan Per kilometer provided by Zhangjiajie, and they will give subsidies in total of 50 kilometers, so only the early persons can get the subsidies. In addition,the 15 most popular          low-carbon travelers because of publishing the travel notes which reviewed by the amount of website kicking comments and reproducing will receive 200 to 2000 credit reward. Due to more attention gained for  shooting the travel notes into Micro-film, he or she will receive 60,000 credit reward.
