There are Huangshizhai cable car to Yellow Stone Stronghold in Zhangjiajie National Forest Park, Tianzishan cable car to Tianzi mount in Tianzi Natural Reserve and Bailong electric lift to Yuanjiajie in Water-Surrounding -Four-Gates.

It is not convenient to exchange money in Zhangjiajie National Forest Park. However, there is a Bank of China in Zhangjiajie city. It is available in the bank; you can drop in the bank on the way from airport/ train station to the hotel in Zhangjiajie National Forest Park on your arrival.

18.Are there any scenic sites down the mountain worth a visit?

I would like firstly to suggest you go to Yellow dragon cave, and then you go to zhangjiajie city to visit Tujia Folk Garden.

19. How many days should I stay up the mountain?

It depends. You can choose to stay up the mountain for, say, one week to explore fully the most beautiful mountain in China if you have enough time. Otherwise you can just stay one or two nights, or even go up and down the mountain the same day.

20.When is the raining season of the year?

It usually falls in June and lasts until the beginning of July.

21.What about the accommodation up and down the mountain?

Down the mountain in the downtown there are 5 three stars hotels 3 four stars hotels while there are 2 four stars hotels and 3 three stars hotel up the mountain. They will meet your demands accordingly.

22.Will the access to Zhangjiajie be closed during winter?

On the contrary, in recent years, winter season has become a tour rush for quite a number of tourists. Especially for the spring festival, the hotels on the top have been over-reserved a month in advance.

23.Is there any preferential price for winter tour of Zhangjiajie?

Yes, there is. Starting from 16th November to 15th March, Room rates are reduced 10%-30%. One of the major advantages for tourists to come to Zhangjiajie in winter is that you will not encounter so many tourists as in other seasons.
