Natural Herb Garden in Wulingyuan

In Wulingyuan, there are hundreds herbs such as; Gastrodia Elata, Eucommia Ulmoides, Phelloden Dron ,Finzhi Herb, Magnolia Officinalis and Coptis Chinensis.Rare Lingzhi Herb with thousand years exhibited in Pictures Corridor Restaurant.

GASTRODIA  ELATA
Gastrodia Elata also named Dingfeng Herb, the Feet of Fairy and Feishengzi. With wide use, the herb cures the diseases such as head pain and palsy.  Compared with man plant Gastrodia Elata, wild Gastrodia Elata is better. 

EUCOMMIA ULMOIDES
It is perennial tree. The bark of the tree used as medicine. Eucommia Ulmoides is good for livers, kidney, muscle and blood. It is interesting that new bark appear after removing the old one.

PHELLODEN DRON
It is wood plant. Like Eucommia Ulmoides, the bark of Phelloden Dron used as medicine. Phelloden Dron grows in wet canyon. Phelloden Dron grows in Zhangjiajie because of cool and wet condition.

Magnolia Officinalis
Magnolia Officinalis also named Mountain Lotus after its flower shape. Magnolia Officinalis is perennial defoliated arbor. Magnolia Officinalis is good for spleen and stomach. In the summer, it blooms. With Lotus shape of leaves, red color and big leaves, it is a beautiful plant.

COPTIS CHINENSIS
It is perennial grass plant with dark green color. Its flower is white and green and it has small fruit. The root of Coptis Chinensis used as medicine.The effects of Coptis Chinensis are diminishing inflammation, relieving a cough and relaxing the bowels. As precious herb, it has wide use. In the summer, you can eat tea with Coptis Chinensis.
